Blogging since before blogging was… well, blogging, I decided it was time to collaborate my many interests into one site where I can add some meaningless, meandering thoughts to this place we call the Internet. In my past lives, I’ve been a Graphic Designer, Journalist, Historian and Teacher. Currently I’m a thirty-something suffering from an early mid-life crisis (however, “early” is quite subjective since if I live to only 60 years of age, it really IS my mid-life crisis, no?)
You may encounter stories on here that are controversial, bizarre or just full of shit but being the grown-up you are (and the one that I think I am, though that can be debated), we shall keep this an area of what I call, “Respectable Free-Speech”. In other words, don’t be a rude dumbass, respect my opinions and I’ll do my best to respect yours. We may not agree but that doesn’t mean we can’t be adults about it, right? Besides, I pay for this web-space and nowhere is it written that I mustn’t hurt your feelings. If this bothers you, then you can go pay for your own webspace somewhere else and express your own feelings, eh?
I’m Canadian. I’m 32. I’m female. I’m single. And, I really don’t give a care about a lot of things. However, I do have a lot of passions and that will come through my writing. I’m not always politically correct but I try my best to not be ignorant. If I cross a boundary, be a proper adult about it and educate me. I always accept responsibility and if you can convince me my idea is wrong, bravo. I will go and correct it. If I think you’re an idiot, then I’ll just ignore you.
Mostly, I am here to have fun and to work on my craft of writing. My humour is quite sarcastic and often dry and somewhat witty (though, that too can be argued and is subjective). If I am truly, absolutely serious about something, I will put a disclaimer somewhere in the writing that it is to be taken as so. Otherwise, assume I’m being a wise-ass, okay?
