19 weeks… 133 days until New Years!

I’m about to do something drastic, as it may. Tough times call for drastic measures and this is one of those times.

Here is what I want to do by New Years day…

  1. Lose 40 pounds and become
  2. Run 10k non-stop.
  3. Do 200 squats.
  4. Do 20 push-ups.
  5. Do 200 sit-ups.
  6. Do 150 dips.
  7. Swim 5000 metres.
  8. Bike 30 kms.
  9. And, look awesome.

A lot is riding on this… my career. My health. My future. My life.

I suffered a drastic injury this time last year. August 26th will be my “crapiversary”, when the one-year anniversary of my injury takes place. This past year, has sucked. Royally.

But, I want to turn things around. The doctor can’t do much. Physio has helped but only so far. From this point forward, it is all riding on ME.

Tomorrow is day one. It’s going to be a rough go but dammit, I’m going to do this. I need to do this for my physical needs but mostly, for my mental ones. I feel defeated right now. I feel like I’m “good-for-nothing” and it’s a horrible way to live a life. It’s now or never.

I have a wicked spread-sheet that is FULL of workouts of varying kinds. It will be tough. But, it will give me a great road-map to making sure I get to where I need to go. Without a map, you have no idea where you’re going to.

This is no different. I will be taking photos and such but won’t be posting them quite yet. But, you will have a chance to see them all, I promise. I do imagine this will help my quest of $80 a month spent on food, as my challenge!
