Today was my first workout. I took it kind of easy in that I only had one workout planned.
The run.
It went awesome actually. I did my warm-up, did my 1km walk timing (11 minutes) and then I did a 1km baseline run (essentially doubled-back from my baseline walk). I was quite pleased with myself as I refused to look at my watch (it’s a mental game, it can make or destroy you!) and in the end, I ran the entire 1km!!! Pleased as punch, I was. I did it in 7:26.
I didn’t stop the entire time, I didn’t die, I didn’t wish for it to end… it just was and it was awesome.
Eating could be better tomorrow but for today, I loved the exercise and I hope tomorrow is just as awesome.
I feel maybe that I can actually meet my 10km running goal by New Years Eve!
